If getting ready to give your Instagram account a workout in the coming months, we might be able to predict where you are headed.
Based on new survey results from rental management firm Twiddy, we now know where some of the most Instagrammed places are and when they are trending.

When it comes to the most shared destinations in the U.S. over spring break, for example, the survey shows that there were quite a few of you headed to Florida (in the number-one spot) and Hawaii (coming in at number 2).
Tropical destinations weren’t the only hot spots over spring break, however. New York City was the third-most shared destination on the social network this spring.

Things get a little different in the summer months. The top three destinations are Wyoming, with Yellowstone National Park drawing visitors from around the world; Maine, attracting those looking to cool off in the heat; and Hawaii, because nothing says "summertime" like tropical islands.
If you are wondering “why Wyoming?” This may be the reason.
When it came to winter travel, it was more about the avoidance of winter weather than shoveling snow in Minnesota.

The most popular place to hashtag in the colder months was #Hawaii. It’s really no surprise: Twiddy concurs that many would rather be sunning themselves on the beach than fighting cold weather at home on Christmas.
After Hawaii, New York City (full of holiday cheer) and Wyoming (with its festive lights) were next on the list.

But where was the most Instagrammed spot when looking at all of the seasons?

Twiddy’s research showed that the state of North Carolina was the place to be. It was the most popular with travelers in the spring, summer and winter months.

This post might help you see why.

British Airways Released Planned Renovation and Modernization of New York’s John F. Kennedy International Airport

British Airways has released some artists’ renderings and details on its planned renovation and modernization of Terminal 7 at its hub in New York’s John F. Kennedy International Airport.

The redesign, which will be completed at the end of 2018, is part of a $65 million investment in the airport and will include a new check-in area featuring an exclusive premium check-in zone, redesigned and updated lounges, along with new retail stores and restaurants.
In a statement, British Airways said the redesign “will transform the airport experience.”

Here’s a sneak peek at what it will include:
—BA is promising an “authentic New York culinary experience with local food and beverage concepts.” (That better include fresh bagels, knishes and Ray’s Pizza if they’re really talking authentic.)

—Sit-down restaurants, including the Brindle Room from former Food Network Chopped contestant Jeremy Spector; gourmet sandwiches at Boomwich; a NYC Burger Joint outlet; rolls, bowls, burgers and buns hot off the grill from Kobeyaki chef-led Japanese food, made to order; and FIKA, a world-class wine bar.

—A larger check-in area, as well as an exclusive premium check-in zone and waiting area, with access to fast track security.

—An immersive retail environment including duty-free shopping and concessions.

—New gate seating areas and workstations.

—Updated lounges with more space.

Once in the terminal at the retail and restaurant area, British Airways promises customers will never be more than five minutes away from their departure gate, where new seating will be installed.

American Airlines 50,000 miles credit card and miles programs

We’re all busy and have super tight schedules. Still, if you’re willing to be a little flexible you may save big money. Try searching for flights a few days earlier or a day later. Ditto for hotels. Also, take a look at your destination and see if there are any big events in town during your intended travel time, which may drive up prices. Lastly, embrace shoulder season travel. I take my annual “summer” vacation the week after Labor Day, when there are less crowds, the weather is still wonderful, and my trip costs a fraction of what it would have a few weeks earlier.

Banks offer consumers big sign-up bonuses on airline credit cards, but Keyes warns that if you're not careful, you might end up getting a much worse offer than you could have. “For instance, American Airlines frequently promotes this card with a 30,000-mile signup bonus,” he says. “It's a good offer, but if you quickly Google ‘American Airlines 50,000 miles credit card’ you'll find this link for the exact same card, but a 50,000-mile signup bonus.” The takeaway? Shop around for the best miles program and make sure it works for you.
